EP 26: Must knit all the things.



Works In Progress:
-Manhattan socks as part of the continuos KAL "Cast on for YenForYarn". US 2 using Punta Merisock Handpainted.
-Swatch for my Julissa sweater.

D's Corner:
-WIP: Stripe Study Shawl KAL. US 6 using Knit Picks Palette. Colorways Edamame, Custard, Sweet Potato and Kumquat Heather.
-WIP: Uncle Frank sock #1. US 3 using Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Heavyweight, Mossay colorway.

FO's:
-Chubby Chirp for SSK KAL using hands-on from Highland Handmades fiber.
-Bowties are Cool socks. US 1, Sheepy Time Knits Sheepy Feet base in the Bowties colorway.
-Stripe Study Shawl KAL. US 6 using Wollmeise 100% SW Merino in WD Flaschenpost and Feldmaus.

Spinning:
-WIP: Highland Handmades White Spruce Top. 50% SW Merino, 50% Tencel in the Goldfinch colorway (4oz).

Upcoming/Queued:
-Secret test knit.
-Sweater KAL beginning Feb 1st with Melissa/Meliabella from His & Hers Podcast & Heather/BoutrosBabe from Highland Handmades/The Fiberista Files Podcast.
-Lala's Mystery KAL. (I'm going to do a fingerless version.)
-Penelope the Empathetic Monster for the Charminglochie KAL.
-No More Tears socks designed by Erin/MommyNeedsYarn. Proceeds will go to Autism Speaks.

Enabling:
-Into The Whirled Doctor Who club, yarn & Fiber.
-Highland Handmades yarn and fiber. The yarn is her special "Bouncin with Brodie" colorway for the No More Tears socks/Autism Speaks.
-BeesyBee fiber.
-All Spun Up fiber I purchased from a destash.

Re: the bad yarn.

I'd rather you be honest - BUT - that said, it could be a defective skein - I'd contact the company and not fight with it. When you write to complain - I'd stress how much you love the color and the feel of the fabric once it is knit, but that it is obvious that you got a bad skein - worth a shot!

Thanks, I may contact the company, but the more research I do the more it seems lots of people have had the same trouble. It might have been a large batch that was bad.

first time watching the show LOVE IT !!!! My husband crochets and it is nice to see another husband and wife crafting together :)
